I offer a complimentary initial counselling session to all new clients. This is a chance for us to get to know each other, explore your needs, and see if we’re a good fit—without any obligation.
If you find yourself in a difficult financial situation or have a limited income, please don’t hesitate to inform me. We are committed to finding a more suitable rate for you. Additionally, I am available to conduct remote counselling sessions via video or telephone.

Standard Counselling Rate
A standard counselling session lasts 50 minutes, and the fee is the same for both in-person and online video sessions (£40)
If you have any financial concerns, please don’t hesitate to discuss them with me — I’m happy to offer concessions in certain circumstances.

Payment Information
The simplest and most convenient way to pay is via bank transfer, which should be made weekly—at least 12 hours before your scheduled session. Payment for your initial appointment is also made by bank transfer.
Please note: We do not currently accept credit or debit card payments. All necessary bank details will be provided once your appointment is confirmed.
For in-person sessions, you may also pay by cash or cheque at the beginning of the session.
For international clients, payments can be made via IBAN or PayPal.
How Long Does a Session Last?
Standard Therapy/Counselling Sessions
Each session lasts 50 minutes. You can choose a frequency that suits you—whether that’s a one-off session, weekly, fortnightly, twice weekly, or on an ad hoc basis.
Double Sessions
These extended sessions last 1 hour and 50 minutes and are ideal if you’d like to explore multiple issues in more depth or make faster progress in a shorter timeframe. Many clients find these particularly useful when they want to dive deeper or cover more ground in one sitting.

I offer a free initial consultation via telephone. If you choose to continue with therapy, sessions are held weekly at a rate of £40 per hour. Payments can be made either as block payments in advance or before each online session.

The initial counselling consultation provides potential clients the opportunity to discuss your counselling needs and for me to assess whether we can offer a service that meets your needs.

Initial 30 minute online session via video conferencing session is free of charge.
My Counselling sessions are 50 minutes and are at a regular time each week.
My counselling availability is designed to meet the needs of my clients. If the hours I offer do not fit your schedule, let me know – I may be able to make adjustments.
The practice even online counselling is open Monday through Friday from 9am to 8pm, Saturday from 9am to 1pm, and Sunday from 9am to 12 Noon.

If after our initial session you would like to pay for a block of 6 or more sessions you can do so. Just let me know and I will send you the bank details.
All missed and cancelled sessions are chargeable. For counselling to work best and produces long-lasting results, appointments need to be regular and consistent. you will be provided with a written copy of the Acorn Therapy cancellation policy at the time of booking.
